This online course is for anybody who is wanting to expand their knowledge on the anatomy of the horses hoof. It has been designed as an entry level course to simplify complex science, and transform it into an easy to understand format for the everyday horse owner/ equine professional. This is the first part of a two part online course series (part 2 will be released later in 2025 - so please be sure to subscribe to the mailing list for updates!) This course is made up of 5 lessons with an approx. run time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. This course covers the importance of hoof health in relevance to its function and whole-horse health. In addition to teaching horse owners/equine para professionals about the external structures of the horses hoof, and how to begin recognising healthy (and not so healthy structures) in their own/clients horses. A certificate of completion is available for download upon completion however, this course has not been preapproved as a provider to award CPD points, so if you are an equine professional within a professional association, please check if this can contribute towards your annual CPD requirements.
